『演劇１・２』４週目に突入も満席！ Theatre 1 & 2 goes into 4th Week and it was sold-out!

『演劇１・２』、４週目に入りました。東京のシアター・イメージフォーラム、本日は12:45『１』と16:00『２』の回、いずれも満員お立ち見でした。大勢の方が観てくださって嬉しい反面、お立ち見の方には申し訳ないです…。でも嬉しい。でも申し訳ない。でも嬉しい。の循環。

２部合わせて５時間４２分の、それもドキュメンタリー映画を５週間もロードショー公開することは、僕にとっても配給会社にとっても映画館にとってもハイリスクです。正直、ちょっと心配してたんですけど、思った以上に大勢のお客さんに観ていただけて、本当に感謝しています。

Today, Theatre 1 & 2 in Tokyo attracted even more audience than yesterday and some of them had to stand to see the movies on 12:45 and 16:00 show. I feel sorry for them, but at the same time, I'm so thrilled. But I'm sorry. But I'm thrilled.

The distributor, movie theater, and myself all took a big risk to release 5 hours 42 minutes movies in theaters for 5 weeks. Honestly, I was a bit worried. But I'm really grateful that the result turned out to be beyond my expectation.
